The Shropshire Lamb born a few days ago seems to be doing well! No more lambs yet which is good news. Why do I say good news? We like to have lambing take place in as short a time as possible. As we have to maintain cover 24 hours a day into early March. That way any ewe that is struggling will get the help it needs and any lambs in trouble will get the colostrum that is vital for it's future health. The first 24-48 hours are so important as you can see from our Shropshire Lad.
